Bill Verbrick: General Manager / Head Golf Professional

Attended Appleton Xavier High School. Graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. All American pitcher for the UW-Stevens Point baseball team. Started in the golf business as an Assistant Golf Professional at Stevens Point Country Club. Also worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach, Florida and at Sunset Hills Country Club near St. Louis, Missouri and for the PGA Tour’s Golf Course Properties at TPC Craig Ranch near Dallas, Texas. Married my high school sweetheart, Kara. Our oldest son Lukas will be turning 3 years old in June of 2009 and our youngest son Jackson was born in November of 2008.  My brother, Andy, and my parents Mike and Katy all live in Appleton as well. gm@ridgewaygolf.com

 


 Becky Boehler: Office Manager & Accountant 

I joined Ridgeway Country Club as the Office Manager in the summer of 1989. My responsibilities include managing the daily financial operations of the club from member billing to payroll. I truly enjoy my job at Ridgeway, the members and terrific staff - and since I do a wide variety of tasks - I never get bored. My experience in this field comes from both education and various related positions in the Fox Cities. I spent many years focused on the financials for an area contractor and my last position before joining Ridgeway was in Outlook Graphic's growing and evolving accounting department. I grew up in the Appleton area and have three children and three grandchildren. I enjoy traveling with my children and grandchildren and attending their sporting events and concerts. When I am not kept busy by family, I get lost in a good book or appreciate a beautiful summer day on a golf course. beckyb@ridgewaygolf.com


Nancy Ullsperger:  Sales & Events Coordinator

My name is Nancy Ullsperger and I have just accepted a position with the Club as the Sales and Events Coordinator.   I am eager to make a positive contribution to Ridgeway and work with the existing staff.  I have been an Independent Sales Consultant for several companies the past 3 years and prior to that, I was the Director of Catering for 8 years at Club West in Neenah. Steve Wamsley, the current F&B Manager and I actually worked together to triple the business at Club West from 1997 until 2005 and we both have great ideas to bring more business to Ridgeway.  We are currently working to provide off-premise catering to any location in the valley by early next year.

My family consists of my husband Russ and two children. Our daughter Kalen, is a graduate of UW-Madison with a Spanish major and is currently looking for full time employment in Buenos Aires, the capitol of Argentina. She had visited there in her junior year of college on a study abroad program and loved the culture so much, that she wanted to go back. Our son Kyle, is a freshman at UW- Milwaukee and is majoring in Sports Psychology.

As you all know, members play an intricate part in the success of any private club.  I look forward to a seamless partnership with all of you to bring about more members, more events, more excitement…. resulting in more growth and stability.  It will be a pleasure to get to know you and thank you for the opportunity to make a difference at Ridgeway. nullsperger@ridgewaygolf.com
